HTC wildfire and geocaching.com app?

Hey all.
I need to replace my work phone (use the old sim) with something and was looking at the cheapy HTC wildfires as i will trash an iphone

is anyone using them with the geocaching.com app? I read theres been some problems in the past

Also an android user, does the App work with GA caches or is there an App that does ?

The Geocaching.com app is for their site only (c:geo only works with GC cachers too).
