Projecting waypoints on an iPhone

Post by Fuddley » 03 April 11 11:03 am

Can anyone tell me how to project a bearing and distance on an iPhone?

I have geosphere loaded, but don't see any way of doing projections.

While in a cache or waypoint, just either double tap the coordinates, or use the top right hand corner menu and select "Edit Location". The screen this takes you to has a "projected" option.

The best use of this is probably by first selecting "Add related waypoint" while in a cache, and then when adding the waypoint, you can project from either the current waypoint, or your current location.

Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Murf.
