What the Heck am I to do???

I have been given an option for upgrading my GPS to a better one, I will retire the current steam driven Garmin 12 back to fishing. I want to hear what current users say of their choosen GPSr's..

Here is the options I have,

I can have a big 40th Birthday Bash, but no GPS

or I can have a GPS of my choice, but no Birthday Bash

NOW here is the hard part...

What GPS do I get.....

I have narrowed down to 4 units

Meridian Color; Meridian Platinum; GPSMAP 60CS; GPSMAP 76CS

Ok, my left foot is nailed to the floor and I am in a flat spin.....

I am leaning towards the garmin stuff.......
What to do????

you can always get a gps
but you only turn 40 once!

(ie, take the bash, then ask for a gps in 6 months' time)

I prefer having enough money to buy my toys when I want them. Though I think that option has finished for a while at least. At least I already have the toys.

Go for the party and a GPS72. It's a quantum leap over the 12 and will still leave you with lots of fun tickets.

list your bash as an event cache and when each cacher asks what you want for your birthday, say "$10"
