Perfect for a torch to keep in the car for your impromptu night-time FTF hunt. Always charged and ready to go:

Now that's an idea!
How many times have i gone geocaching at night without a torch?
Too many.

I should be purchasing a TK40 around Christmas time.

Very handy. I also looked at the next one which could also be useful in the geocaching bag for when the batteries in the headlamp are dead.

Note they have a minimum $20 order so you'll have to buy two of something to make it worthwhile.

I bought 5 200 lumens CREE torchs from eBay to get the shipping down, and then sold the rest through eBay again (for a small profit :)

Super bright torch, and now that I think about it, it's been over a year without a battery change. \:D/

I think you will find they are a Hong Kong company.
They do have some nifty gadgets and I have bought a fair number of things from them.

Ive had a few torches from DX that i use geocaching, sadly i dropped them once or twice and that was it, game over.
No amount of re soldering would fix the thing.
Going to buy a quality light.

Whats are the sku's of the ones you got from DX ?

One of mine from DX is a bit so so but the other one is bullet proof. I commonly drop it out of the car onto the road when out night caching. It has not faulted once. The only problem is the case it not getting banged up from all the falls onto the road and other hard surfaces.

I could have 5 of these for the price of one "Quality one" here. But I only need one.

With DX you have to do your research. There a great torch's there. There is also crap. Chose wisely and you will be happy.

If you have an iPhone 4 (ie. with flash), iTorch4 is a great, FREE app that uses the flash as a torch. Beautiful, bright beam, and has a strobe mode too (not useful when geocaching, but fun :D

Probably runs the battery down pretty quickly , but it works a treat! =D>

I got one of these for my secret santa at work this year and I must say it is awesome. Amazingly bright for such a small unit and not and impost on my keyring at all. 4 button cell batteries are less than ideal, but I managed to find 20 on ebay for less that $5.

I own three LED Lensers (a head torch, P14 & a little one that can be attached to your key ring). The head torch is ideal for caching. Purchased all at my local Mitre 10 with the head torch reduced by 50%. Have yet to see any prices on the Web that would draw me away from dealing with them.
