I use the GSAK 'upload to GPS' or whatever it's called rather than exporting the GPX via the filesystem like Fuddley is.
When this method is used, all caches get thrown into a file called Geocaches.gpx and it just works.
It looks like some field doesnt go across when you export to GPX, I'll fire up my oregon and see if I get the same results....

Ok, I can replicate it now.

If I export a Geocaches.gpx from GSAK GCA caches, the 1st one is the only one that is displayed

Its GSAK that's breaking things.

If you use 'Send Waypoints' form the GPS menu it assignes the cache a unique cache_id, but when you EXPORT it sets all GCA caches as:

Code: Select all

<groundspeak:cache id="99999998" available="True" archived="False"
I'll nip over to the GSAK forum and see if anything can be done to fixerate this without needing to run smerrals macro.
[EDIT: Thread for that is here: http://gsak.net/board/index.php?act=ST& ... entry88216 ]

As an aside: Is there any reason you don't do it via the GPS-> Send Waypoints feature??

Yes, the import to GSAK populates GKAK variable $d_CacheID with 999999998 if there is no "groundspeak:cache id" in the GPX. A subsequent GPX export from GSAK exports every GCA cache with the "groundspeak:cache id" as 999999998 which the Oregon interprets as a duplicate cache and only displays the first one it encounters.

Since I use GSAK extensively to generate files for my Oregon, Tom Tom and (occasionally) my Triton I needed a way to get GCA to Oregon via GSAK.

Good news guys!

ClydE is going to change the next build of GSAK to handle GCA caches a bit differently and this problem should vanish!

This post in this thread is where I added the ID.
http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopi ... 28#p141728

The numbering is based on the numbering previously suggested by lignumaqua which we added in the "send to" functions when they were first created.

Sorry, I should have upped the schema version number, but there you go. Next version of GSAK will solve these problems.

I have no problem using the latest GSAK and the latest 3.40 firmware in the Oregon, they just load in as normal caches.

I don't use ColoradoExport I just use GSAK's built in Upload tool..

Can I ask why you use ColoradoExport? What does it do?

Under the GPS menu.....................

First go to setup and tell it youi have a Garmin Oregon 300/400

Then when you go to GPS-> Send Waypoints it will send all the waypoints in your current filter.

Are you running the absolute latest GSAK?
The one GCA cache issue was fixed with the most recent version

When did you last update your GSAK with GCA Trigs? (You should be able to tell from the Last GPX column in gsak)

If it was before you updated GSAK you will need to load them in again.
