Help with GSAK!

Post by Camstal » 18 August 09 5:03 pm

I am currently updating My Profile on GC.com and have realised after running the FinStatGen Macro I don't know how to put it into my profile itself. It is built and is ready but I don't know what to do next.

A little help please [-o<

Thanks,
Camstal

You need the macro called GenUploadStats.gsk.

This will generate the stats and then automatically put it into your GC profile.

Just so you know, when the macro runs it automatically copies the code to the clipboard. If you then go to http://www.geocaching.com/account/editp ... tails.aspx and paste it you can create your profile from there. It will also allow you to maintain other items on your profile such as CAW graphs and other items.

You can use the GenUploadStats.gsk macro and maintain additional info like the GCA stats bar and c@w graphs.

In FindStatsGen3.gsk there is a note section. Include Notes as a report section and use button on the options menu to access the notes editor, in this you can insert all the extra stuff and GSAK will include it in the HTML created for your stats and GenUploadStats.gsk will put it all in your gc.com profile.

eg. <img src="http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/Facitma ... /finds.png"> to get my finds line graph included
<img src="http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/Facitman.png"> for my GCA stats bar.

Sure can. If the info is in GSAK of course.

http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/Damo.
http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Damo. ( <- will have to add an . to the end of the url. )
(232 Geocaches & 27 other caches)
Presume the macro is using the GC code to identify the "geocache" so GCA are "other" caches.

Also note in the "Finds by owner" section zactyl is listed twice as I have found both GC and GCA caches of his and the macro is counting them seperately.

Thanks Damo,
I knew that I could get the GCA caches to show up in the upload, what I want to do is automatically up load it resulting HTML to my GCA profile rather than paste it in there.

Th other issues I have is that my GCA caches don't show up in the "My Owned Caches" part of the stats page, and that on my GCA profile page I am limited to a very short Stats page, I can paste in the complete page but it get cut off when viewed on my cacher page :-k
