Geocaching Icons display problems in Google Earth 5.0
G'day All
I have been having problems with displaying the Geocaching icons in Google Earth since upgrading to version 5.0 and I think I have a temporary solution to the problem of the Yellow Pins instead of the Geocaching symbols.
I have found that by making the "Geocaching Network KML" folder in the Places folder list non-expanding it will show the correct symbols. Try the following :-
Right click the folder and select properties. In the properties box, untick - "Allow this folder to expand".
I hope this works for everone. I'd be interested to know.
Cheers

Just tried it for the first time in about three years and it was working as normal ie not showing the actual cache location and moving the icons around at random.
The icons were displaying correctly though. Latest GE version on XP.
The GCA feed is much better imo. Doesn't have the nice icons but it does show the actual cache position!
