Anyone got a copy of Vista 64 Bit that they no longer want
I finally got around to building that box with a little stimulus from Kevin I haven't got an OS for it yet and Windows 7 doesn't seem to have any drivers for my components.
I ended up with;
an ASUS P5Q3,
Q8400,
4Gb DDR3 Ram 1600,
512 Geforce 8400gs and
Samsung optical drive.
Thanks to all that have posted

I'd be suprised if you can't get the drivers for Windows 7 for your machine but they are available for Vista64???
If you can get your machine working with Vista64 it will work with Windows 7. Even though it has a different name, Windows 7 is basically a fixed up/prettied up version of Vista (basically the same engine under the hood, just streamlined and optimised to run better).
I have a machine with similar specs to the one you mention and have been running the RC version of Windows 7 without a hitch since it was released.
If you can wait till October 22 that is when Windows 7 is due to be released to the masses.

Hey, feel free to PM me with some links to places where I can get drivers for the MB and graphics card. Searching the net isn't one of my strengthsKsix wrote:I'd be suprised if you can't get the drivers for Windows 7 for your machine but they are available for Vista64???
