Problems logging in to NZGPS forum

Post by macandrita » 19 January 09 9:11 pm

Hi Guys,
For the last week I have been accessing the NZ forum as suggested by Rediquana and registered as required. All had been going well until yesterday.
Now I log in and when I want to post it asks to log in again which I do. It tells me I'm logged on and them goes back to the login page again. I am trying to finalise a visit to NZ and need to get this happening again. Any ideas?

It says you are currently logged in...is that the case?

Is there a "log out [macandrita]" link top right?

Hi MM,

What was happening was that I logged in, then when I wanted to post it asked me to log in again. I did this but once it put up the logged in page it kept loading and then put me back to the login page with the login icon up to the right where logout macandrita was previously. I think there could be a bad link on the post reply at the bottom of the page, because I tried the one at the top and all is working as before. Managed to get it happening. Thanks for the prompt reply.

Hi guys.

I haven't heard of any other problems on the forums recently. Perhaps a page is cached and it is appearing that you're logged in when you're really logged out? Have you tried loading the homepage, and then forcing a refresh load of the page. This may fix it if for some strange reason you've got cached pages coming up.

Cheers Gav
