Post by dabuzzard » 26 September 08 9:53 pm

Anyone having issues with GSAK and errors connecting to Garmin Colorado throught USB port. I've had problems with my laptops (Asus running Vista and a IBM Thinkpad running XP) however my desktop box doesn't have a problem....

Any ideas?

I sometimes get an error loading a lot of GPX files at once.

Have you asked your question on the GSAK forum?

I didn't think Gsak can talk directly to the Colorado/Oregon recievers

Just copy and paste your .gpx file to the gpx folder in the Colorado or you can use macros and POI loader

Yep, I have been having heaps of problems trying to load PQ's from my laptop to my Garmin and PDA via GSAK. Its been pretty tedious over the last couple of nights doing it the old way, printing out pages and manually loading them into the GPS. We will talk tomorrow at the event.

Cheers

Bundy I've had no problems using easyGPS to transfer to the Colorado, however I can't get Logs and Hints to transfer but at least the description and the rest of the info goes across without issue.
