PPC sux

Post by Freddo » 12 June 08 11:30 pm

Is there any decent freeware out there for pocket PC. As palm owner I was used to lots of lovely apps. Tidetool, planetarium, wordz, games etc. Searching for apps suitable for PPC is a bit like looking for water at Andamooka. Where are the gems?

It might be worth looking at Styletap, a PalmOS emulator for Windows Mobile (and, reportedly, iPhone coming soon!)

If it works well, it just might tempt me away from my trusty TX to a shiny new HTC Touch Diamond or similar...

Hmm. As I suspected the land of PPC is a barren place. The world of Palm is full of quirky fun apps.

Try AiroMap for wifi "stumbling". It outputs to KML so you can load the info it collects in Google Earth.
