Thats a shame, as I was considering upgrading to take advantage of it.

So if I understand it correctly,... if I had the right sort of mobile phone I could ring a number and get a cache info print out on my phone screen.

Therefore (I'm now guessing) some generous soul, like Pesky, has to transcribe the cache info into the place I call to get the info.

Am I on the right track? If so ... keep up the good work Pesky, it is appreciated even though dinosaurs like me don't quite understand it.

Is this still going pesky?

I am thinking about making the vic wap site.

Would any victorians be interested in it?

What info do you include in the NSW one?

My WAP/MIDP plans have also fallen by the wayside. Other distractions and the constantly changing layout of gc.com (bless their @$^ souls) make it too big a project for me to maintain for the time being.

I've been using spinner for awhile now to put cache pages on my palm from the gpx files...

It does a great job of simplifying everything so I used the data from that to come up with a wap site.

I am thinking of sending this data to whoever made spinner and seeing if the can come up with a WAP spinner. It wouldn't be too hard to do as there would be no images or logs etc.

If I can get this done I'll pass it on to you.

I think i might be onto something here. I can actually change the spinner templates myself.

I will spend the next couple of days playing around with this to try and get it working.

This could be very handy.

I have the wap site finished.

What I do need is somewhere to host it.

The Victorian pages are about 1.3Mb and the other states would be in relation to that.

I dont want to be doing all the states so I'm also looking for people who can do pocket queries and would be willing to maintain thier states wap pages.

I would give them what the need to do thier state and they could upload the info to wherever we can host it.

The info that you can get from the wap site includes....

Index by ID
Index by Name
With Travel Bugs
Index by Placed By
Index by Cache Type
Unfound Caches (caches that have never been found)
Index of Encrypted Logs
Index of Hints

There are images for the cache types and the travel bugs.

So hands up anyone who would be willig to do thier states caches and anyone who may have somewhere we can host this.

I would think a once a week update would be ample.
