Checked those registry keys, that's fixed the default to ninemsn homepage on a page not found issue.

Now to work out how to block the ninemsn msgs on hotmail, it says go to the free newsletters page but that is impossible to find. If I go to newsletters that one isn't shown.

Yeh Firefox owns.

Install Spybot Search & Destroy and run the Immunizer over your PC.

Install AdAware as well.

Run HiJackThis and CoolWeb Shredder from time to time.

Think happy thoughts.

I'm off to Briz this afternoon to clean trojans, viruses and spyware off some computers at a company :)

Don't forget there's free online virus scanners!

Firefox (win and mac) Seriously dude Firefox
That's seriously good advise. I just got my father inlaw to install firefox due to heaps of diallers etc. being installed on his box. Since then, hes had no probs at all
(plus I put a firewall on for him)...

I'd get him to change OS, but I'm biased

New South Welshpersons, keep an eye out (soon) in caches for my new signature item, it's a bootable Linux CD. Lets you try out Linux without installing over your existing setup.

I'll add my vote for Firefox to replace IE and Thunderbird (same suite of products) to replace Outlook Express.

Bazooka

Finds stuff AdAware and Spybot miss. Doesn't remove stuff but shows you how to do it with a webpage.
