My download speed is 200Kbps faster if i go through Canberra or Melbourne instead of Sydney yet i live in Sydney

Adam ADSL 500/256.
At $58/month I really should do something about this.
Although the 15GB limit is nice..

Internode are only $59 a month, with a 20G download limit for ADSL2+, so for that extra dollar you could be getting much better results

Changing email addresses isn't an option.
And Adam have the same for ADSL2+ for $54.95
It's just the cost of another modem/firewall/wireless router..
