So I gave the OSM Maps a go, but the servers are pretty busy there my request is #1191 in the queue. The delay is approximately 5 days.

http://www.osmaustralia.org/garmin.php has pre-built images, no waiting required!

Would they work on my Streetpilot? The installed 2007 edition City Navigator is starting to show its age!
