GCA Emails
Hi,
Not sure whether I've done something to stop the daily emails or not, but I haven't received an email yesterday or today. They were coming through regular as clock work at around 7.30am CSDT.
Where do I go to subscribe again to these emails.
Regards
Jardry

With respect to Team Piggy, the above post is not all that helpful.
I realise that the site is undergoing development, but nowhere on the thread that I was pointed to does it mention anything about GCA emails not being sent!
Can someone else confirm whether they are receiving GCA emails or not?
Regards
Jardry

I was aware of the other thread, just wasn't sure whether the GCA email issue was local to me or whether it is more widespread. Therefore, I decided to create a new thread as it may not be part of the development upgrade for this site.swampgecko wrote:I think that just posting a link withou a small explaination is just rude. Thanks for the advice. I'm glad I didn't post this in the development thread as it had nothing to do with it and was in fact a problem within my profile.ideology wrote:for some reason your update emails are turned off
we may have got a bounce message or something, though gmail is usually okay
you can change resubscribe in your profile by clicking the link in the top right hand corner of the screen and ticking "cache updates"
It's great to get these little things sorted.

Following in on i!'s post, its a good idea to check your profile if things like the daily emails, thread update messages and pm notifications suddenly stop.
It have have been a few email bounces that trigger a change or it may be something that seems to happen fairy regularly if the support requests are anything to go by. People change their email address and forget to update their profile.

My problem was I didn't know where to go to check. If I had been advised to check my profile, this thread could have been closed after my initial request for assistance.riblit wrote:Following in on i!'s post, its a good idea to check your profile if things like the daily emails, thread update messages and pm notifications suddenly stop.
I appreciate the support you guys all provide on a voluntary basis.

And this has been replied to in the mods section swampy, it appears there is some other issues in the forum postings as it ate a lot of mine.swampgecko wrote:I think that just posting a link withou a small explaination is just rude. Smacks of "Well you should know about this thread, why don't you?"
