Faeries - are you listening?

Post by Swampy » 15 November 07 9:35 am

I submitted a cache GA0925 last night and whilst I was waiting for the reply to come back from the GCA cache server, my wireless connection dropped out.
As there had been no change on my screen, I wrongly guessed the submission didn't go through so I submitted it again. Didn't think anymore about it.
Wasn't until I called headquarters for some info on another cache when I was informed there were 2 listings GA0925 and GA0926.
I have archived GA0926 but technically that cache never existed. Can one of you smart faeries actually delete it or do you think I should keep it until next time I want to submit a GCA cache?
Ta.

Edit the cache, put it into DRAFT.
This stops it from being seen ANYWHERE except your own list on your My page.
That way you can use it again in the future.

disturbance in the feeds?

Post by SUBYDAZZ » 19 November 07 12:11 pm

faeries, while you are about, how long should it take for logs to come over from GC? I've a few from 6 days ago that haven't arrived yet. Caches include at least GC168X2 Heritage Hopper, GC177FK ...and then and GC177FR Ducks and Quackers...

Peace to the faeries. :)

Ducks and Quackers is there.

The Temporarily Unavailable for Heritage Hopper hasn't get come across.
It could be that the faeries aren't feeding logs of caches that are Temporarily Unavailable in NSW.

I'll see what's going on there.

Is there anything else specific?

And while the faeries are still listening - is there a break in the C@W stats link since 7/11 ?

I didn't see another topic about it, but if it was there I must have missed it.

And I can't believe that Mr Router hasn't said something before now either........

Thanks for the headsup guys.
A permissions problem on the server stopped the creation of the files.
I'm running them now.
They should run fine each day from now on.

I can't get C@W stats to load at present.

It just sits there waiting for C@w.net.

[edit]All seems to have come good now at 15:00 QLD time[/edit]

Nup, all seems fine now. I usually give it a few days, but it was a lot longer than I've noticed before, all the logs seem to have come through now :)

Thanx Faeries
