Stats error if found/archived on same day?

Post by Bunya » 28 December 06 2:52 pm

This may be a known problem, or not treated as a problem, but in case it isn't:

I just noticed that my stats don't include a cache I found on Dec 1 which was archived on the same day.

The cache is CARROW VIEW.

I found that this cache had been vandalised and the owner immediately archived it in reponse to my log, with the found and archived logs having the same date.

The gca entry for the cache doesn't have my log, the archived log, or a note which was added on Dec 2.

Is this a known problem?

Yes and no.

Once a cache is archived it drops out of the daily feed.
So if it was archived the same day it would never have come through.

You can correct this by adding in the log as part of the self service fucntionality.
Grab the GPX file from GC to your computer.
Then go to http://geocaching.com.au/my/import and load up that same GPX file.
Your find should get registered.
