FTF's are manually entered by you.
Go to the cache page for the cache you are interested in.
On the right hand side there is a link under Actions called First to Find.
Click that link and it will be added to your FTF list.

Righto, I'm home now... Heres a summary of the major updated and changes (taken from the dev list in the wiki:

Big ticket items are highlighted.

* Move caches found / hidden map to GCA from caughtatwork.net (thematic plot)
* Add distance and direction to cache page for GCA caches only.
* Add distance and direction to caches/available page for all caches.
* Zip gpx files for state files.
* Add a simple summary to the cacher page of how many finds of each cache type. It's actually a graph file on the All Graphs link.
* Advanced search/query/stats engine
* Download any search as a gpx/kml, etc (as well as ZIP, GMAP, KML, RSS).
* Allow default search to return case insensitive Forum Members as well as cachers (requested by Ginger Loon).
* Fix bug in Moveable Caches. Original state doesn't update when cache moved interstate (does now).
* Fix bug in Locationless Caches. Original state doesn't update when new co-ordinates are entered (does now).
* CacheStats: A plethora of new and almost, but not quite entirely, useless stats by cacher.
* Upcoming Events: From the Caches tab you can now select all upcoming events, country and region selector as standard functions.
* Future Cache Releases: You can set a 'Future' status in conjunction with a future date and the cache will be automatically set to available at 00:00:01 on the day of the future date. Handy when you want to organise an event or competition with a bunch of caches you don't want to have to manually set to available at some ungodly hour of the morning.
* auto-remove planned caches when found: Done
* Let Google Maps show your DRAFT cache as long as you are the owner. ie. When you create a DRAFT cache, you can go to the cache page and click on the Google Maps link. It will show you where the cache is according to the co-ordinates. If it's wrong, then your co-ordinates are wrong and you should check them before setting the cache to active.
* Check the length of the cache description and if it's less than 50 words, pop out a notice to recommend that the owner add a little more to the description for the enjoyment and benefit of the people who will try and find the cache.

* more GPX options, eg unfound caches, etc
* look into fixing postcode database
o new postcode data has been uploaded - states can check the accuracy

* New Icon Set
* Modification of logs for more cache-specific types ie: 'Attended' for events
* 'Your GCA Logs' GPX file, to keep your GSAK up to date with ALL your GCA logs
* Gallery
o Add a 'cache' gallery for the main cache page
o Allow co-ordinate tagging of images and explore what we can do with this
o Update Wiki with Gallery instructions
* Cache Proximity Alert
* State Checker - Make sure those co-ords are in the State indicated on the listing
* Swaggies
o Make them work with mySQL
o Integrate Gallery into Swaggies and Swaggies Logs
o Allow logging of swaggies by non gca users in foreign caches (and also by gca users in foreign caches)
* Show watched Caches on the cache page
* Sort out handling of Locationless Caches
* No more having to add line breaks into GCA logs!
* Tagging - Flikr style tagging of caches/images/swaggies

Theres loads of other stuff too, but I can't remember what....... :lol:

Collectively we hope it brings you pleasure.

There is some functionality (like stats and the ability to release a cache in the future) that are unique to GCA, so by listening to the communty, we hope we're also adding value.

I'll have a major play with the wiki once my exams are over - I have a study-free semester (s3)

Small bug fix.

On the My Query page, if you create a Public Query, every query in your list AFTER that Public Query will be marked with (Public Query).

Fear not, they are not actually Public Queries. I forgot to reset the Public Query display property. This will be released with the next bug fix release.

Thanks to facitman who has noticed this bug.

Oh, there are no prizes for finding bugs, unless you work in Melbourne, then I'll treat you to a coffee :lol:

There is so much to look at in this release I'm sure I'll end up getting the sack because of it.

But well worth it and thanks.

THE GALLERY IS UP!

A slight change to some permissions has got the gallery working....
You can add images to your logs/caches/swaggies,

Details here in the wiki: http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Gallery

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature -

When in someones cacher page, for example CraigRats, down the right had side there is a listing of items such as "Stats", "Popularity", "Mates" and of course the new "Gallery" menu item. When I click on his Gallery link, his Gallery page opens (which is what I wanted), but in the new window down the right hand side it now has links for me. I would have thought or at least expected that given I am browsing CraigRats profile that his links would stay on the right hand side so I can then click on his stats or see if he has any mates (LOL) etc., rather than having to go back a screen and doing so. I've just checked all the other links and they have the users links in them and not mine.

Hope that makes sense, it's early(ish), I've only just had my Weeties and they haven't started to work yet!

OOh, well spotted.

I'll look at changing that in an upcoming release... I'll add it onto the bug list
