The heading says it all.
Is there a way to do it via the forum somehow?
I want to send a message for the Cache Awards
Thanks

Only the admins can do that ...

You could ask Pyrenees Kid or i! to do it for you.

Hi
I have a feeling that it does not work and that you cannot send a message to all in your state group.

The admins can do it as I was spammed... oops I mean notified... about the Vic Cache Event the other day, even though I'm in NSW.
I'm sure the State Usergroups would be able to do something. Leek is the moderator for NSW Gropers.

Check the headers of the mail about the Vic Cache event.
Pyrnees Kid knows how to do it..

Sorry... we can't send a message to a state group as far as I know... Pyrenees can send one to everyone though... As there is a lot of cross border caching, this might not be a bad idea anyway...
Maybe Ideology could put a link to the Eco's voting page on geocaching.com.au as well...

Hmmm I thought this was the whole idea of the state groups...

Hmmm... so did I...
Apparently there is nothing you can do with the state groups once you've set them up - but I hope to be corrected...

As I understand it, the State Group moderators aren't able to do it, but the administrators can send messages to the members of each Group.

maccamob is correct
we'd prefer not to spam people
but we have put up announcements on the front page and would be happy to put a one-liner in the cache update emails for newsworthy items
