I hope this is an April Fool joke.

We get the same diversion to GC when trying to log on to GCA.

What's happening?

You might think it funny but I find it an inconvenience that I have spent quite a bit of time trying to access the stats and stuff.

Grow up

people behind the scenes at GA are quick to bag GC when they are down but as far as I am concerened GA is now down and this is a waste of my time. trying to access information and being sent all over the place.

Well done guys....Love a good April Fools joke!

I have to admit that I was gotten good (as my family can testify from my cries of "oh no they've shut down GCA!" ). I became suspicious when I used a direct link to GC.com and the GCA shutdown notice wasn't there.

Thanks for the laugh...especially at myself

Happy April Fools Everyone!

Very funny! Took me a minute to work out what was going on. I played it all up for The Prez though "Oh no, I'm sorry they've shut down your playground" he said. hehehe.

Very funny. Had me for about 10 seconds or so!

For the complainers, try one of the dead links on the page such as http://geocaching.com.au/subscribe/ and you can get to your info.
