Another disturbance has occurred [closed]

Post by caughtatwork » 30 January 06 10:18 am

http://geocaching.com.au/caches/available/au/vic/

A disturbance in the feed there is, hmmm, yes.
Since 22/1 no new caches from GC.com have appeared, hmmm, yes.

Some logs also appear not, but we expect that the weekend may be the cause so we will let this disturance pass.

The new caches not being seen could be attributed to a recent fix for the .000001 degree change, hmmm, possibly?

Recommendations appear not in the daily email also.

Not just VIC - seems a TAS disturbance in effect as well. I logged this and it hasn't turned up in GCA yet.....
waiting, waiting (guessing it isn't GCA's fault)

Any news on this being rectified? My last cache still does not appear on GCA, nor do the finds.

<p>Not really. It only referred to the last couple of days where mine in question was almost 2 weeks ago.

2 weeks could be a bit far back for an automagic update. Why don't you add the missing details through the import caches facility on your 'My page'?

It's been b0rked since 17th January which is probably in the 2 week window.

Maybe we need to ask the Tasmanian Cache Faerie for help.

disturbance in the force (cue heavy breathing :))

Post by aandm » 10 February 06 7:51 pm

Yes this seems to have affected us too as none of our Feb finds have shown up on GCA. Is there a way to send them manually ?

Cheers
Andrew and Maryan

Oops, the Faeries have been on a 2 week mainland holiday without access to their magic and are currently holed up in the Dandenongs...hope Cached got it all fixerated!!

They will be on deck from Sunday provided my new ISDN line stays up (yes, ISDN...)

Hmm... will be interesting as the faeries haven't been out to play since the other place had its facelift!
