Gentlemen/women(Still haven't figured out MS's place in the scheme of things ) of GCA I stand before, here today, to beg you to consider my appeal........
Guys, the state pages are still too busy, I know you want to be able to show ALL caches for the history benefit, but I find it too distracting all the red and strikethroughs for the archived caches. And we have had the odd case of the new geocacher being confused by it all, even with the key at the bottom of the page.
There must be a better way.....
I suggest that the default for the list page of GCA caches be active/temporarily inactive caches only, with a selection on the RHS for "show ALL caches" regardless of their status.
Any drawbacks with this idea?

Another thought has struck me... and didn't it hurt.....
The hitlist has one major drawback, you cannot differentiate where the caches are listed. Yes Yes I can hear the complaints now, but we do have three different groups using this site now, Those who won't do GCA listed caches, those who won't do gc.com listed caches, and those who don't care where a cache is listed.
So how about an option for choosing the makeup of the hitlist?
ie GCA caches only
gc.com caches only
Both sites
opinions please
