Missing www.goecaching.com link on cache pages [closed]

Why do <a href="http://geocaching.com.au/cache/gckr9c">some pages</a> have GC links under the Additional Information section, and <a href="http://geocaching.com.au/cache/gcm3mv">some pages</a> now do not have an Additional Information section at all?

I noticed the same thing yesterday as well.

oops, sorry it was a bug related to recommended caches

the way the page works is that it does a database lookup to get the cache details such as name, whether it's recommended, and the source of the cache (local or secondary site)

when a cache is recommended the system does another database lookup to display the full name of the recommending cacher

unfortunately that subsequent database lookup overwrote the result of the first one where the source of the cache was identified

since the page is generated from left to right, by the time it got to the right, it had forgotten that it was a groundspeak cache

and since only some caches were recommended, it only occurred on some caches

thanks for letting us know. we've hopefully fixed it

This heat is a bit revolting though, roll on winter (albeit a QLD winter). I'm grateful that I work in airconditioning.
