Distance rule [closed]

Ok this has two major concerns for me....

1. I believe that the distance currently used by the other site is a bit too much, maybe we can lower it to 100mts, that will make it more acceptable to our system of measurement and way of thinking...

2. Do we enforce the distance away from a "secondary (site) cache"?

I say no. If someone stumbles over another cache , thats listed elsewhere, well thats too bad, we leave it up to the individual to decide what they want to do.

Ah finally 100 meters is so much easier to remember.

1. 100 metres is good for me.

2. No - if we do that, someone is sure to ask why we don't enforce the 'rule' with navicache, terracache, whatevercache caches. (yes I know there arn't a lot, or any in some cases, here)

Now that the review plan has changed there should be some way a cacher can check if there is something close when posting. I don't believe any cacher will want to put a cache on top of another one.<p>
Would it take much to bring up a window with the nearest locally listed caches when a cacher submits the cache listing?
