As per (part of) the suggestion here:
http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopi ... 83#p213483

When you get to the front page, please hit F5 to get the newest style sheet and then ...
Logged in as caughtatwork - Logout
The text is larger.
Your clan displays.
Click your name to go to your cacher page.
Click Logout to logout.
MENU
The menu button is larger.

Simple changes, but hopefully effective.

Do you use c:geo for your geocaching and are frustrated that you can't use your Geocaching Australia GPX file and import it?

Well, as of right now you can. Thanks to some generous support from the c:geo folks we have been able to tweak our GPX file so it will now work with c:geo.

To use, simply grab a GPX file from Geocaching Australia, say this one for all known GeGnome ][ geocaches.
http://geocaching.com.au/my/query/gpx/7536

Drop it on your device and import it as you would any other GPX file.

Bingo (no that was 2 years ago) ... GEGNOME! You have a device full of GeGnomes you can chase around with c:geo bringing all of your geocaching enjoyment together in one app.

Logging is not supported but you can at the very least use c:geo to find your GeGnomes.

We hope this change makes you happy.

That's pretty cool. Thanks. But just as I suspected - all in major cities. No chance for me to join the GeGnome fun.

When I read in the GeGnome thread, "As far as etiquette goes, don't dump a gnome 200km from nowhere. That's not nice and basically exits the gnome from the race", I knew that pretty much counted me out and decided not to place any. According to c:geo my nearest GeGnome is exactly 200km away. :)

Oh no please play with us. You never know who will be passing through to pick up your gnome. I once made a 100km detour to pick up a frog in a past race.

Your location is not nowhere. You're there. I might have too look at a map of information about how many GCA cachers live where (based on their home co-ords) and shade a map according to density ... or something.

:gnome :D
Don't give up you never know, Just did a 6 hours train trip (and 6 hours back) to Berry to pick up some GeGnomes and others so distance is not always a problem, although in my case no useful train service to Dubbo for me! But there may be other wanderers.

Thanks guys.

I'm most worried that if one makes it into my travel space I'd be tempted to move it and won't be able to move it far, leaving it in the middle of nowhere still. I've found a few old racers and haven't been able to move many on. I've only been able to move them and get my GCA caches found by contacting names i recognise from the forums when they find my GC caches.

If only I lived near better public transport I could go places more often...or find a way to shift my over 18s out of home so I can afford my own car again.

When I get time. Got some time off mid Jan. Probably round then.

Work and family things keep getting in the way, but I'm off till the 18th so I'm trying to schedule in a trip over to melbourne to install and all that...

The server is pretty well done, only minor things which I'll do after it's up.
