What's new on Geocaching Australia
Re: What's new on Geocaching Australia
I think a paragraph explaining what the new cache types is perhaps is missing?

New Cache Type at Geocaching Australia
The wiki knows all.
http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Geocache
Specifically:
http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Beacon_Cache
They are fully supported as of yesterdays announcement as a new cache type on the website, assuming you can get your hands on one down in Australia.

Fieldnotes
As per the request in this thread, Geocaching Australia now supports fieldnotes.
http://forum.geocaching.com.au/viewtopi ... =1&t=15052
You can upload your fieldnotes via your My > Import function.
Select the format applicable to your device, find the file on your machine, hit the Import button and magic will happen.
http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Imports#Fieldnotes
When you have loaded your fieldnotes, you can continue to review and edit your field notes before logging them in as proper logs.
You can also review your field notes via your My > Field Notes function.
http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Fieldnotes
Note that if you load a Field Note that you have previously loaded, it will be duplicated, so ensure that your file only contains the Field Notes you wish to load up to Geocaching Australia.

Re: What's new on Geocaching Australia
Did my first upload of field notes this morning - really cool, and useful as no more revisits to the same GCA cache because you forgot to log.
Now just gotta remember to rename the original fieldnotes txt on the Oregon so I don't have to tick the delete box on tens of logs.
Top effort again c@w.

Also tested this out this morning--found my way and it worked well. Thanks to who ever organised it, sure beats manual recording.

Sub Menu
Cached is looking into a plan to reorganise the menu structure (thank you).
To help her see what submenus might look like, under your MY tab, your Hotlists are now on a submenu.
There should be a white right arrow head indicating a new submenu on that item.
If you hover over Hotlists you should get a new submenu.
If that's not working for you, you may need a fresh css file, so hit the F5 key while holding down the CTRL key.
It probably doesn't work in IE6, but does in IE7, IE8 and FF3.

Re: Sub Menu
In FF3.6.6 I can get the sub menu, but do not see the arrow head, so have no indication there is a submenu.caughtatwork wrote:Cached is looking into a plan to reorganise the menu structure (thank you).
