GCA or GA?
I'm trying to sort through habits I have picked up that are wrong versus habits I have picked up that are right. I'm just wondering if my abbreviating Geocaching Australia to GCA is right or should it be GA? I mean we call that international site GC and their cache codes start with GC, so with Geocaching Australia's starting with GA, is that what I should be calling it?
But then Trigs are listed differently. Trig hunting is probably my favourite part of Geocaching Australia but I can't call it TP because that abbreviation is already taken... and some people have taken too much over the last 2 years.
What's everyones thoughts? What are the admins of Geocaching Australia's opinion? If this conversation has already been had in the past (I couldn't find it in my brief browse of the forum), what was the verdict then?

Re: GCA or GA?
Personally, I always refer to "us" as GCA even though the cache codes start with GA. But, like everything else GCA, you play/say the way you want to play/say.

I tend to use both GA/GCA interchangeably, for no apparent reason.... must depend which neurones fire up (or don't fire up) when I'm about to say it.... I think I've used both in the same sentence before!

I prefer GA. Same number of letters, easier to say....
Re: GCA or GA?
GCA is generally how I refer to the name of the site. It's headquartered in Redfern & there is a photo of the letters GCA which appear prominently on the front of the multi story building somewhere in here.

At the time I thought that the second tower was a bit extravagant.
But I've come to enjoy the legroom
