Geocaching Australia

It would seem that the daily notifications are not including new Locationless listings eg: there were a whole lot of Locationless listings published by 'Mister Doctor' on Monday 6th April and there was no advice in the Geocaching Australia VIC Cache Update Tuesday email.

Just wondering if it is me or the system please?

The daily updates are set based on your state. As locationless geocaches have no state, they are not included in anyone's daily mail.

Ahhhhh, thanks for the clarification Peter - I was not thinking outside the box.

If you go to the Menu then My Cacher Space, under Geocaching Alerts you can add a tick to be notified about locationless ones. Just set a radius of 0 as for me they are 15,222 or so km away. For the normal types I have just generally set a radius of 30km from my home location.

You will then get an email when something is published of interest in your area (or any new locationless).

Thanks Richary. I am getting the emails, but didn't think it through as to why they were not recorded in the Daily Notifications.
