Feature request: Remove from watchlist button

Post by J_&_J » 10 May 17 3:53 pm

Sorry if this has been suggested before, but after a search of the forum I couldn't find an instance of it.

I have a lot of GCA caches on my watchlist. Now and then I need to remove a cache or two from my watchlist, and while it isn't a difficult thing to achieve, a "remove from watchlist" option in the actions box of a cache listing would be very handy. There have been instances where I've clicked a bit prematurely and removed the wrong cache.

Would it be feasible that this link would only appear if the said cache is actually on the users current list?

Why are you watching so much stuff, you stalker?

At the moment when you add you are taken to the list of caches on your watchlist.
When a cache is removed the behaviour will be the same. i.e. It will take you to your watchlist.
Adding the button only if the cache is on your watchlist is a simple DB lookup so this should be achievable. At the same time we will only display add to watchlist if the cache is not on your watchlist.

I will advise when this is available, but expect it shortly.
