Note: These graphs may take a moment or two to generate for each new day, then they should be displayed quickly.

The average finds per month for a geocacher is around 12.5 (this includes Geocaching Australia finders)

The average finds per month for a Geocaching Australia geocacher is around 6

What does this information tell me?

If you play exclusively at Groundspeak, you will average 12 finds a month. If you play exclusively at Geocaching Australia you will average 6 finds a month. If you play at a combination of both (and who wouldn't), then you will average 12 finds a month.

People who play at Geocaching Australia are finding at least half as many a month as do those who play at Groundspeak. A 50% find rate comparison is a positive way to view the growth of Geocaching Australia over the years, especially if you consider than over the last few years (red line, running average), the average per day for Groundspeak geocachers is falling while those at Geocaching Australia continue to rise.

The Geocaching Australia community, by finding and hiding caches at Geocaching Australia, are continuing to grow the game in Australia.
