I just published GA13696 and used incorrect posted coords first up. These have been corrected and it shows up in Marrickville dZ, but on the cache page it shows as Strathfield. Can you fix for me please?

Thanx

On the geocache page, look to the right and you should see a link for "Update Locality". Click on that and the locality will be updated to whatever our map provider decides about the locale name.

Quiz...
I answered all questions correctly but the scoreboard showed 9 correct out of 10.
Q9 was scored as incorrect.

There are no stored results, so I can't see what you answered. When I answer question 9 correctly, it goes green for me. What did you answer?

I answered 10 correctly and got all greens but my score was 8 correct. I had no incorrect answers. Just did it again and got all 10 correct again but number 3 blacked out and my score was 9 No big issue for me. Q3 logsheet or logbook
Correct. You need a method for proving someone was at your geocache container and what better way than physical proof by way on an entry on a logsheet or in a logbook.
But not showing green but black to give me 9 but the score line but I have 10 green corrects.

If you click on the down arrow it will reveal the response.
You need to click on the answer text to add it to your score.

It seems that the confusion between the triangle to toggle and the answer to click is wide spread so I have made them both do the same thing. i.e. From now it doesn't matter whether you click the triangle or text it will be marked as correct or not. First answer is sticky so if you get it wrong you can't show it as right even if you then click the correct answer. If you want a string of green (for bragging rights only) then refresh the page and answer again.

Preparing to go overseas

Post by Kunama » 06 May 19 12:26 am

Hi,

I'm not privy to how GA manages to display GC caches, but I have found a few that mysteriously return a "Unknown/unlisted cache" result, despite definitely existing.

They're overseas caches so I totally understand if it's to maintain the database at a reasonable size
But on the off chance that it's a bug, the caches in question are:
GC58W91
GC4R5JW
GC73XXW
GC73BBH

https://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Uploading_logs

You will need to import international caches.

Our team name seems to have acquired an extra character and no longer shows as a member of the Phoenix clan. sharnie's tribe is reading and logging as sharnie\'s tribe and isn't green anymore! Help
