There appears to be a lighthouse in Kettering, Tasmania, which is not part of the lighthouse series. It's at S 43° 07.642 E147° 15.292 and can be seen on Google road view.

Another in Devonport that may (or may not) be worthy of inclusion - as it's technically a "leading light" rather than an official lighthouse. Then again the two leading lights at Low Head rate a mention. S41 10.595 E146 21.776

Okay, I got it.

The list of lighthouses on lighthouses.org.au wasn't complete.
And it was polluted with lighthouses which didn't have a house.

After the famous "what is wisdom" timeout, I am more than happy to add anything submitted which is in Australian territory. So if you know a lighthouse or leading light not on the list and can give me some details like the name and coordinates, then I'm more than happy to dive into it.

There is a rather large tower here with a navigational light on top. It's located at Warburto Point, just south of Wallaroo, South Australia.
It replaced one of your existing lighthouses, although at a slightly different location.
This cache is very close to it.
I couldn't find much more info on it, so didn't mention it...until now.

We used to see the light blinking on and off from our old house at Wallaroo.

We once thought the weather station was at the same location too, hence this cache.

But apparently it is further west, closer to this cache.

I found a lighthouse today, but when I went to log it the system complained it was within 161 metres of another find. But you have nothing on the page to say a light house can only be logged once? Am I allowed to log the same one someone has already found or should they all be new ones?

Locationless geocaches can have a radius set by the geocache owbner to warn people that they are potentially claiming a location that has already been claimed and they should check to see if the geocache restricts locations to once only. This locationless cache has a 161m proximity check to ensure that a warning tis given to the finder that this location may already have been claimed.

Ahhh yes, not part of the new light house series of caches but a locationless by someone else. Not that they mention in the listing that each light house can only be claimed once. I will PM them about that.

That happened to me with a Masonic Hall. Did send a message seeking clarification but received no response. Ending up logging the local hall and changing the original log of the Brisbane one to a note. One of the advantages of being the "Only GCA cacher in the village". Note to self - stay local.

Locationless caches were enhanced some time ago to allow a radius check and a limit check.

The owner can limit the number of finds per geocacher on a locationless geocache. For example one of mine. http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga8763
You will see that there is a limit of 10 finds per cacher. If the cacher attempts to find and log an 11th find, it will be rejected.

The owner can also limit the distance from any previous find. For example one of mine. http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga8763
You will see this has a 0m limit which means the same object can be used over and over again. Any value other than 0m will give you a WARNING, not a rejection.

Most others have a default of 161m which was applied AFTER the owner created the listing. i.e. When it came to setting up the enhanced data, we set it to be 161m. Unless the cache listing explicitly says that duplicates are not permitted I would ignore the 161m proximity check and move on. A lot of these geocachers no longer play and we are effectively using abandoned listings, so the owner rules of proximity have never been checked and / or updated.

Don't stress over it. Log your find. Move on. It's just a game folks, just a game.
