Re: Daily alert with cache name changes which aren't changed
Actually I saw a whole bunch this morning for NSW (and I haven't uploaded since last week) - crew 153 did you do NSW last night?
You are right things changed to allow cache name updates from imported GPX files once the auto feed stopped (as I accidentally broke some as I originally wasn't just using %name as the export, but it had never mattered before, then noticed during the import it was changing names). So maybe they are caches that haven't been logged for a couple of months and are now updating. Would have to look at the logs.

Re: Daily alert with cache name changes which aren't changed
My PQ schedule for NSW is for Monday nights (9th). But I think I was a bit slack this week and it may have been Tuedsay this week before I uploaded them. that would have put them in the Wednesday morning (11th) feed.
Hopefully we are catchiing up some old errors and it will settle soon. I only update caches which have had logs on them in the previous 7 days so there may still be others that trickle through.

Same here, so it might be old ones. Otherwise I could just upload the individual PQs from Groundspeak, though that would mean the server would have to filter out a lot of unnecessary data. I wish I could find an easy way to filter out the cache description in my exports as well, as that isn't saved by GCA and probably constitutes half the bandwidth. Might have to see if there is a macro for that.crew 153 wrote:My PQ schedule for NSW is for Monday nights (9th). Yes I noticed that in my feed this morning, and I did do an upload last night. Strange.

The trimming should have fixed it.mtrax wrote:looks like these are still coming C@W or CraigRat can these changes to ignore whitespace be made ?
Odd.

Re: Daily alert with cache name changes which aren't changed
These are the final switch backs.
i.e. The database has "Name " so when a new GPX file comes in we trim to "Name". As "Name " is not the same as "Name", we update it. Now the DB has "Name". As we trim everything from now on, it should not change to "Name " should a new file come through.
