Daily Update

Post by The Morris » 09 July 13 10:27 am

I haven't received my daily update email for the last couple of days - how on earth shall I keep up with all the new caches published in Victoria:?:

Prior to that I had wondered if something was going on with it as there were a couple of days where there were no new caches in it. Are you okay:?:

Mine have been arriving.
The system appears to be working ok.

Check it hasn't ended up in a spam folder.

Also, perhaps the victorian feed needs a tweak.

Run a GC Pocket Query every day for dates between an arbitrary start date and December 31 2014. It will pick up all the newly published ones.

Given The Morris do use the site and not just the forums, perhaps they want to use our updates.

How does one receive a daily update email from GCA? I get just published caches email, but not a daily one.

Just so you know I haven't got WA updates for two days either. (I don't have any spam filters in place and get all mails on the mailbox I use for GCA.)

Looks like a slow process involved due to overload as I have not seen any Quensland updates for three days either.

Thankyou for checking and taking measures to rectify. Much appreciated. Very fast response as allways.

A number of ISP's were blocking our server connecting to their mail server for the reason I gave above. With the removal of our IP address from the RBL the "backlog" started to flow through.
