I don't have anything to test it on, but looks simple enough.

We would only implement it if it works straight out of the box however, if we have to do in bvrowser detection for different iOS types etc then we would be less keen to do that as it's a pain to maintain.

I just tested and the facility exists now. Log the cache through the phone then click on add image same as if you log by pc. Select the photo you have taken or take new photo and you're away. portrait photos automatically go landscape so you need to edit them so they point the right way
