Before the game starts all caches entered are counted.
Once the game starts ONLY caches that are published are counted.
At midnight the game started, but nothing had yet been published at the time the data was extracted from GCA.
You'll see that the count is now down at 400 as there are nearly 100 caches which haven't yet been published.

You'll never please Craigrat. Last year we left him a little frog at the end of his road and you should have seen the carry on. I believe in the end he called the police to help him look for it! :D :D

Points to me for publishing it at 11:58,on my phone in a carpark.

Anyway. Three ftf's in an hour. Zzzzz
The caches are published at 00:05 as they come through the auto publisher.
Depending on the synchronisation of time devices (clocks), they may be a few minutes early or late.
As there are some 400 to publish, they could take 10, 15, 20 minutes to get through the list.

On the hour, yes.
The data is extracted from GCA each our (to keep the bandwidth and site hits down).
At that time your cards are updated and caches which are moved by 1km or more, by you, will show up green.
Your name at cachinggames.com must match your name at GCA so the software can tell who moved what.

She doesn't.
Depending on how fast your internet connection is and how fast the server is running, there is a pause between the gobs of data spewed from my server to you. Data is only spewed is certain sized gobs, so it may look like there is something missing. Give it a few moments and it should finish.

Our nutwood finds don't appear to be appearing on our Bingo cards. Perhaps the nutwood33 thing is confusing the issue? I thought we only had the "33" for GC stuff as nutwood was already taken but it does seem to pop up occasionally.
