Last x number of posts [closed]
Hi all,
Is there/ could there be a feature on the forum where i can look at the last x number of posts (x can be hardset at 10, 20 etc, i'm not worried)...
The reason being is i will look at a watched discussion from the email link and then go to the forum to see if there is anything new happening only to find the latest posts will not show due to the current visit (does any of that make sense or are the drugs wearing off )
Help

I'm a little confused, does this <a href="http://forum.geocaching.com.au/search.p ... >search</a> not work for you?

Hi teamkittens,
Yes it does....i generally use this when going to the website....
However if you receive a topic reply notification and click on the link to view the post....from then on you have lost the ability to use the latest posts link (as it recognises you last visiting 1 minute ago and therefore no latest posts will be viewable )
Are the drugs helping you understand my plight
Regards

if you use an RSS reader, the reader usually displays the history
assuming you don't use an RSS reader, here's a quick hack to give you a list of the topics containing the last 50 posts.
is this what you are after?

it's the last 50 posts, which are at the moment in approx 20 topics
sorry, the 50 is hard coded - it was a quick hack just to get you going
an rss reader automatically connects to the forum and displays new posts on your screen every hour. our rss reader monitors the forum as well as various news sites
