Is Premium Membership required for logging SSM's, and Trigs?

Noticed today a Headline when I logged into NSW State Survey Marks noting that in the future I would have to pay $12/year for Premium membership; but that there were other (more expensive options) if I wanted to get statistics on cachers and caches, going up to $75/year (from memory).
Just logged back into GA0094 and it did not show this time.
What gives?
This also showed on a cache I was loading a photo to from a while ago. ?!?

You should have checked the calendar. (April Fools!)

It's all gone now.

As always you don't need anything other than a username to log anything here at GCA.

As others have noted, all is well, and our beloved SSMs, PMs and Trigs can still roam free . . .
