I think most have logs, but there is no rule about it - some moveables are too small for instance. Some owners say if you log a move then you obviously found the cache so it doesn't need a signed log scroll. Make sure it has the GA number on it somewhere obvious though or where there are multiple frogs together it can get confused.

The number of registrations continue to increase!

Is everyone going to be up at 12:05am tonight watching?

I think we need 12:00 AEST time, don't we becasue that is the GCA Server Time? Or is it ADST c@w?

So does this mean that you'll be up, motor running, ready to go?

The "Future Publish" note says
Your cache will be published 01-Dec-11 12:05 AM AEST.

So I guess you're so thoughtful and clever that you'll make is DST for us \:D/ to give us more time between "publish" and "have to be at work" times

Yeah, well, I make mistake.
If you go the main site, down the bottom of each page you will see the server time and your local time based on your timezone offset set in your settings.
The GCA server time is AEDST at the moment, so they will be out somewhere around midnight, Melbourne time.

I'm glad you have got it right, C@W, as I'm absolutely certain that there will be people (crazy, insane people) hanging around, awake, at that time in the morning, waiting for the publish logs to appear.

I'd hate to think that they were crazy insane people, suffering from lack of sleep, AND a bit peeved that the caches didn't publish at the time they expected!!!!

I would never hang around until midnight just to see new caches published, that's crazy. I'm going to bed nice and early and then wake up just before midnight so I can then go for a short frogging trip and not be too tired to do more frogging again after work

Calling robbo and toy hunters.

An email is on its way, but your frog has no co-ords and is sitting in the middle of the ocean about 14,500km away.

You will need to give him some co-ordinates before he can be found.

When you give him co-ords, please edit your published log and add the co-ordinates to the log as well. This will ensure his distance is calculated correctly.

Due to a mishap in communication - some of mine may see a delayed start. I'm currently waffling between "eh, I'll bat my eyelashes at the first finders for a photo" and asking the dear helper who placed them to go find and photo before work in the AM.

Apparently not having a photo makes it tough to log the Froggie ER cache and have proof. #-o

Delayed starts are fine.
Joining the game after the start is fine.

We had some late entrants into the GeGnome Project as well. Zal doesn't get back for a couple of weeks, so his will be late starters.

The only thing you need to remember is the longer you delay, the more chance others have to move ahead of you but apart from that, join in whenever you like.

Well I won't be hiding any more micro caches in a hurry - took me forever to size the log right and get the double sided printing lined up. Have finally deployed him with 5 hours to go.
