TP5294 Mahon Trig - Please unarchive

Post by SecretSquirrel-BJC » 29 April 11 12:56 pm

the listing states: "This trig is on private property, so you can’t go all the way up to the trig. But you can get quite close! (Within about 80m) – Walk up the hill from the road, or a more suitable location, just don’t cross over the fence."

Most ACTers are content to take a photo from 80m away

So why can't this trig remain? Why should PJW be able to archive it?

Are other people now allowed to archive PJW-logged trigs which don't comply to their way of thinking?

Please unarchive this cache, and BOLD the first sentence...

As you have found, TP's are community listings. You can archive, unarchive, edit, etc as thought it were yours.
If, however, vandalism or "archive wars" break out, then that capability may be revoked.
i.e. Play nice kids, it's a community playground.

One idea might be -- if we think a particular trig ought to be archived, then we canvas the opinion of other trig enthusiasts via this Forum. If done in a friendly and polite way, this approach might avoid problems.
