How far can I move a cache? [closed]

Post by Richary » 01 October 04 11:23 am

A question for the approvers, I have a cache (Granites) that has been muggled. Planning on getting down there next weekend to replace and locate in a more private spot. Since it disappeared Team Piggy has placed one (Granites 2) nearby - only 127 metres according to Ozi. So I might move mine a bit further south.

What is the most I can change the coords without help?

not far enough..

Find a spot - give it at least 160 metres gap if you can. Put the new coords in a note and attract the attention of embi or myself. a PM will do.

No worries. Not quite sure how Granites 2 got approved as mine is only disabled not archived. Doesn't matter though.

If I move to the other side of the carpark it will be over 160m.

My mistake.....the cache distance is listed in feet and I stuffed up when approving....I'll be more observant next time
