I know I and my 4.5 yo daughter enjoyed making and hiding these caches. For the 3 people that have found mine, the camo was a little girls idea. She spent 30mins in the garden completly covering them in mulch(and herself as well)
Thanks for the motivation and enthusiasm to all for getting these new hides out there. The emails kept coming in for new hides.

I've been "Gunna" hida a GCA cache for a while but just never got around to it.Up to a few days ago there were exactly ZERO GCA caches in this area now there are six(and I'm yet to find one ) .The seed has been planted, hopefully it will thrive.Thanks C@W for starting the ball rolling.

I would also like to say thankyou to C@W for your generosity, I really appreciate it. Being only new to this I had planned on putting out my caches as GC but when this 10 year celebration came along with your incentive, I was swayed to GCA (the power of little shiny's). Now that the cache hidding ball is rolling I have several more planned to go out soon and they will all be with GCA. Thanks again.

Thanks C@W for the incentive of the shiny coins. I had hides planned for a while and was trying to pick a good time to release them. This was the perfect opportunity to get them out there. Keep up the great work. . I like GC finds but love GCA more as there are no limits set (apart from NSWNP's).

Not that we needed enticing. The 2 caches we placed had been sitting in the shed for a few months, made up and primed to go. They were always destined to become GCA caches.

Ok, I had heard of the first few lines of this but didn't know the whole thing, I had to look it up. Wasn't even sure who wrote it. When it 1st came out, it was played non stop, that's why it was in my head.

It's amazing how a couple of "free" pathtags can "offset" the cost of a couple of 2li Sistemas and fancy logbooks etc, not to mention the FTF pathtags I also purchased to giveaway!!
But then again - isn't it worth it!!

As an aside, sometimes I'm a little disappointed that with the sheer volume of easy urban caches being published in the ACT that many cachers avoid the more challenging (& potentially more enjoyable) hides. My 3 x GCA anniversary caches are 2.5-3.5 terrain & I suspect that the proportional number of finders will be quite low as a result. Time will tell. I put all 3 caches on a pleasant 5km loop route, so maybe that will encourage a few more finders - there's only one nasty hill at the start...

As another aside - C@W did you do a check on the size of the caches that were published? You originally specified regular or large to qualify for the pathtag. I know that one of my caches is a small, but that was my 3rd cache, so I've excused myself with that one. Perhaps the size was an aspirational target!! I have seen a number of other small 10th Anniversary GCA caches published, but perhaps they are like me & have published larger ones as well. Over recent years I know that I have been surprised at the number of 1li (& smaller) containers now being classified as regular - I've always considered up to 1li as small. But then again, with the proliferation of nanos it seems everything is being downsized!
