No-one has found mine yet either!
Mind you, I think mine is the only Urban Adelaide GCA cache there is!

Hehe.. a week on and one of mine still hasn't been found. I hope it's still there..
Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia
It occurred to me that there is no reason to stop the GCA 10th Anniversary celebrations until 18/5/2011.
To that end my movable cache GA2055 Hide & Seek, which has already been moved has been replaced with a new movable cache at the original starting point in Blast Furnace Park, Lithgow, the new one is GA2229 Cache-cache, and this will be replaced when moved and so on for the next 12 months or until I give up!
It will be interesting to see how many caches I have to make to keep up.

Or until someone keeps moving them back to the original hide...rogerw3 wrote:

Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia
Movable cache #2 has been picked up and has been replaced by movable cache #3 GA2231 Versteckspiel, that's German for Hide and Seek.
OK people go and get it and make me replace it with another one!
Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia
Geez! I had just got the details of the last one printed out and now I need to print out a new one!!!! At least the co-ordinates haven't changedrogerw3 wrote:

Movable cache #3 (GA2231 Versteckspiel) has been picked up and has been replaced by movable cache #4 GA2232 Nascondino, that's Italian for Hide and Seek.

Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia
Movable cache #4 GA2232 Nascondino has been picked up by blossom* and Strike-a-light. This has been replaced with #5 GA2234 Escondidas (Spanish for Hide and Seek).
Go to it people I still have a few to replacements available!

If you want a GCA 10th Anniversary Pathtag I have just put one in GA2021 Lest We Forget.
Go get it while you can!

So how many 10th anniversary caches remain unfound? One not a million miles from me (Wendoree Where) has been found at last. Was thinking of a special trip for it but didn't get a round tuit.
The closest to Sydney I've found is this one:
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga1879
And it's a couple of hundred kms north.

Well I will be up at Forster late August, so it could be a chance if still unfound!Yurt wrote:So how many 10th anniversary caches remain unfound? One not a million miles from me (Wendoree Where) has been found at last. Was thinking of a special trip for it but didn't get a round tuit.

That's it the 12 months are up and this self replicating cache has been replaced 13 times, the last reincarnation has been picked up today.rogerw3 wrote:

So no more will be created, an average of over 1 a month not too bad for an out of the way place like Lithgow.
A big thank you to all the cachers who made the effort of coming this way and picking up these movable caches.

Re: 2000 to 2010 = 10 years of Geocaching in Australia
Hard to believe it's 12 months! Seems longer really.
Have picked up a few of the "Hide and Seek" movables thanks to rogerw3 - not from Lithgow but Sydney and have moved them on.
How many anniversary caches have never been found?

All of my 10th Anniversary caches have been found, but
10-4 Srs3 Dam has been found only once!
10-1 Srs3 Hartley Vale has been found twice only!
But overall I have been very pleased with the find rate on the 10th Anniversary caches, although it has to be said the find rate has dropped off in the last 6 months, I guess the novelty factor has worn off.
I wonder if we could get some competition going along the lines of "How many GCA caches can you find?"
