Love the pathtags - what an incentive to celebrate the occasion =D> \:D/ =D> Now to put on the thinking caps to find some great places to hide a few GCA caches :-k

Deleted due to idiotic replies.

Fixed the problem myself anyway

I've just hidden two Caches, trouble is one has come up with the bold Green writing as expected, which is Good. the other however did not have the bold Green writing but instead has moron writing, I have got it so it won't be published until 18/05/10 so I am not sure why the moron writing? Have I done something wrong?

Regards
JOhn
Which moron wrote the moron writing. Are you sure it's not maroon? ;)

I see there are already 10 caches ready to publish for this anniversary. =D> Can C@W or craigrat tell me if this query is based on "hide" date or on "publish" date? I'm curious becasue my first cache is already on the site with a hide date of 18 May but I haven't yet put the publish date as I want to wait until I place it in a few weeks for that. So is my first cache counted here now? or not?

It's OK, take it easy, sometime people have a bit of fun.

More than likely what you did is set the cache to "Hiders Choice" which will set the cache to have a maroon text to differentiate it from the rest.

From what I can see of your cache listing (I'm a side admin so I see everything), it looks fine and is ready for publication on 18-May-2010.

Thanks for taking the time to hide a few caches on Geoaching Australia.

Yes they are counted in the count showing on the graphic on the home page.

To get the graphic image to run as fast as I could, I don't check for a publish log. At this stage I assume that if you're hiding a cache in the future and it's on 18-May-2010, then it's an anniversary cache.

I have one cache ready to go and I have an idea for the location. I am waiting for an Ammo box for the second cache.

Some of us are thinking of having an event to celebrate this milestone, Maybe a BBQ on the Sunday 17/05/2010.

Will keep you posted

Brilliant. If you make a GCA event, I'll be there, maybe with a few giveaways :-)

There are four subtleties in the pathtag design. See if you can spot them.

I have had a close look and think I have found all 4

Aust in centre of Starburst
6 Stars depicting the 6 states
Southern cross at the bottom of tag
Gold and Green together around the edge of tag

Very close of the subtleties. 3 right, 1 not right.
