Site went down today from about 2015h to 2030h EST... repeating error of 'too many connections' sorted itself out quickly enough.

Yup, we are looking in to the root cause of this right now.

Thanks for the report.

We think we've tracked it down to some horrific queries against the zones database and the stats graphs.
I've turned them all off for the time being to see if that's what was causing the problem.

I just did a log for a locationless cache and when I looked at the page the log entry had truncated.

GA1698

When I looked at where it cut off the rest of the log I noticed it was at a " quote. The rest of the log has gone. Now I know I can fix the log (typing it a second time round is never the same) by removing the double quote marks but am reporting it here first in case you aren't aware of the issue.

If you are I will edit the entry.

By any chance did you type the log out in another program first (like Word, notepad, etc)?

No.
But... I copied (ctrl C) the quote from the website I was talking about.

At a guess (C@W would probably be able to see straight away) it had some funny (malformed) characters in what you pasted in, which caused the issue.

Exactly.
â
It's malformed and so the rest of the text is chucked as the system has no idea what to do with it.

Thanks :)

I will re-edit the log entry and remove the offending bits

I'm getting an xml validation error when trying to import the nsw.gpx file into GSAK. ](*,) Not the same issue as last time as it is happening on both the zipped and gpx versions.

The error is

nsw.gpx:476:2: mismatched tag
