Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Yes it was a kmz file, exported straight from Google Earth. I followed your advice and it's all working correctly now!
Thanks for the help.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Yay
I'll still fix the hideous way it throws the errors and then says success.
I might also try and catch the kmz extension and uncompress it to a kml file.
Save y'all on upload time as compressed files are smaller.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
kmz files are now allowed as long as you have a single kml find inside it
We only allow kmz and kml files now.
Errors from the parser are caught and an exception thrown, so no more incorrect "success" messages.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. You've helped make GCA a better site.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
On the 'Details' sub menu of my cacher page all but the first option 'View logs' leaves the sub menu in place when the information selected displays but 'View Logs' doesn't display it when it displays the logs and makes you start at 'My' again to get to the cacher page so that I can go to any of the other 'Cacher Page' options. Is this deliberate or is it supposed to be like the other cacher page sub menu options?

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
It's deliberate. Not user friendly, but deliberate.
It calls the same code that displays any log for any purpose, so it's not possible (per se) to put the subtabs on that page.
The back button should take you back to a page with the subtabs on it.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I am trying to set up a query to list all my GCA finds in Queensland.
If I don't have any of the radio buttons for found/not found I get a total of 984 which is the total GCA in QLD.
If I select caches I have not found I get a total of 947 which must subtract the ones I have found. So it must be recognising my cacher name.
But if I swap over and select caches I HAVE found I don't get anything - not even a count of 0.
EDIT to add:
I tried it with a selection of adding 3rd party caches and I still get nothing.

Graph: Finds by Elevation
Hi.
I've just tried to view my finds by elevation graph, yet no image appears, and when I delve into it I find the following provided instead of the PNG:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 552 bytes) in /var/www/site/gca/docroot/cacher/graphs/0090_finds_by_elevation.png.php on line 74
http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/mark_ra ... _elevation
http://geocaching.com.au/cacher/mark_ra ... vation.png
I'm curious to see the graph, so hopefully there's not too much effort in rectifying this.
Thanks for all your hard work.

You had something I didn't cater for which was your first GCA attempt was a DNF.
So my array got all out of whack.
Sorry about that.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Thanks for the headsup.
We're trying to lock out rogue robots and I boob'd.
Should be all fixed now.
Apologies. I did test this, but I forgot that admin accounts don't get checked like this.
