Re: Report GCA Site issues here
We use the metaphone as a "sounds like" match when you search for cache names.
We have a lot of missing metaphones, so we've started to update them when you do your imports.
This makes searching for "sounds like" cache searches more comprehensive.
We could suppress the messages, but hey, I like to tell you what we're doing

Help Needed with GCA Shop Password
Help!
I've been trying since yesterday to log into the shop, but can't do it.
I've twice asked for new passwords, but both times the passwords weren't accepted.
I want to buy some things and hope I haven't somehow mucked up my account.
Many thanks in advance.

Email re shop access has been sent.
That shouldn't have anything to do with today's other event.

Re: NZ Stats missing something(s)
The Dashboard for Apteryx country (plus the mainland and that other place), is pausing interminably after every every. Maybe those stats are on the never never?
Kenny (regrettably in that other place next week)

First person to access the dashboard in any region every hour has to suffer a slight delay, after that it is cached and should be quicker.
They are working fine for me.

Like what? Are you running a my query? A my route? To the screen? GPX file?
What be the URL you are running? Just cut and paste it here.
Give me a hint and I'll look into it.

Ahhh, I see.
You're too far South
But seriously, I see what the issue is and I can fix it, but this will need to wait until I get back to my code base tonight.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Just a small one for me, I normally run my GCA query once per week and they get emailed through. I can't remember seeing one come through for about 3 weeks. I checked the query by hovering over the mail icon and it tells me it was sent this week.
I know that I'm still getting the forum posts but the last watchlist I got was mid March and that is probably when my PQ's stopped.
I have checked my account at GCA and all looks good. I've looked at my spam folders in email and can't see anything either. Any ideas?

Your My Query is being rejected along the way (somewhere) because it's too big.Big Matt and Shell wrote:Just a small one for me, I normally run my GCA query once per week and they get emailed through. So we sent it and it never got there.
I just ran a ZIP of your query and it's about 8MB (give or take).
That's probably getting rejected somewhere between us and you.
It could be us, but my area of expertise is not postfix, so when in doubt, blame someone else
I suggest you cut your query into two bits.
Maybe TP and non-TP.
Or maybe something other than all of Australia.
We don't a philosophical issue with everything being downloaded, but the wonders that are the interweb toobs will get in your way when the file gets too large.
