From memory if a cacher doesn't set a home state GCA assumes that their home is the state that they have the most finds.setsujoku wrote:When looking at these for SA, there is a (US) cacher SEMIK that shows up as leader for a lot of the months. It looks like he's only been here the once though, and that was recently, so somehow all of his logs that he has imported in to GCA have managed to end up in amongst the SA stats?

Ah that would be it. For some reason I thought that they just defaulted to being from the ACT.Big Matt and Shell wrote:From memory if a cacher doesn't set a home state GCA assumes that their home is the state that they have the most finds.setsujoku wrote:When looking at these for SA, there is a (US) cacher SEMIK that shows up as leader for a lot of the months. He set his home state as SA, so that's why they appear.
I've reset his home state to OTHER so it more accurately reflects his location.
When the stats are regenerated tomorrow, he'll drop off.

With the 'plots' on the individual cacher page would it be possible to have an additional one for WA just showing the south west of the state so that cachers who mainly cache in this area can see a more detailed version of the current blob that shows with the whole state view.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Small issue I've just noticed with the integration of GC logs with GCA logs - seven of my recently logged finds on geocaching.com are not showing up in my GCA statistics. I log my GC finds on geocaching.com, and they usually show up here on GCA within a few hours after I've logged them on GC - here's my logs as GCA posts them:
http://geocaching.com.au/logs/cacher/Al ... ucks/?&w=0
Note that seven of the finds I logged aren't showing up in the GCA list above. Compare with the GC list here:
http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest. ... ny+Canucks
Four of the finds I logged for September 30th, and all three of the finds I logged for October 2nd aren't showing up at all in the list of my logs on GCA. My number of caches found is currently showing on GCA as 61, when it should actually be 68, because of the missing 7 logged finds. Is this issue unique to my account, or are others experiencing the same?
Perhaps this problem will resolve itself in the next day, because I have noticed previously that it can take some time for the logs on GC to appear on GCA. Nonetheless I posted all these logs on GC more than 12 hours ago (I just returned from a week long trip and logged 30-40 finds yesterday). So it seems that GCA has ported some of the logs across but not yet others (although oddly enough, all three of the logs for October 1st are showing, as is the log for October 4th), and there is a discrepancy that needs to be rectified.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
It depends on the state.
Some states are fed once per week, some are fed more frequently.
As a premium member it might be best to play catch up yourself.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function gca_gmt_user_timezone() in /var/www/site/gca/docroot/my/log/index.php on line 39
Clicked on 'Log This Cache' on ga0775... got the above error repeated at me
Edit: Seems to be doing it on every cache I try...

I forgot to commit that code.
It's there now and is working fine.

Why does my finds show 1 in Victoria!
I did place a moveable there. But, I found it in Sydney.
