Geogetters wrote:I changed my username 6 months ago from robemi, however a number of my caches (7 I think) have not transferred over from my old name, and the logs are still under robemi. Could they been transferred over please, so that my current username reflects the actual number of caches I have found? I did an import but it came up with an error for those caches. Thanks
All fixed.

A few missing logs/finds:
1. Did Figurehead(GCG16R) on the day of the Flashmob. Shows as found on GC and log appears. On GCA shows as not found and log does not appear in the GCA view of the cache.

2. Not a Drop to drink (GCNFXZ) Not found on My 8, but found May 27.

3. It's got legs(GC237YQ) Found the 28th along with a heap of others that have updated already.

Even though some are not a week old yet, others on the same day have updated, so thought i'd list them, too.
(Most of the ones from the last couple of days haven't updated yet - no problem, but is odd that one or two have)

The best way to solve this problem as you're a premium member at GC is to do the following:

http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Uploading_logs

Specifically:

http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Uplo ... aching.com

My, and a few other, logs for "Geocaching NSW: Parramatta Xmas party" (GC2DR7R) and "Batman" (GC2HHH6) appear to be missing.

Sorry I can't fix this at my end till after the Chirstmas spending stops!?!

Thanks, trying to hit an average of 2 caches a day for 2010, or 730 this year. Just keeping track. 56 in 29 days to go.

Thank you very much for the comprehensive instructions in uploading missing logs. We noted that all of our logs for October in from New Zealand took well over 2weeks to come through but we still had 11 missing - we now hopefully have all of them on board. Very much appreciated Jennifer & Richard (aka Piggles and Ginger) FlyingPigSquadron \:D/ :D

:( :( :(
I have tried over and over to load my gpx file for "my finds" but something's wrong and I just don;t know what. I go to the Import page, use the "browse" to find the file i want and select it so it shows in the box, push the "Import" button and it takes ages and ages and then comes back "You need to specify a file to upload" and the file name that i have slected has disappeared from the box.

What am i doing wrong?? It says it's a GSAK file on my file list and it's 24,328 KB

Thats approx 24MB, that's way too big for our importer, if you are doing it from GSAK, get it to only export YOUR finds and it will greatly reduce the size of the GPX file.
Better still, just get the 'My Finds' GPX from GC and upload that file only.

Thanks so much. I thought 24,000 KB was only about 2.4 MB (I'm not too up on how many 100s or 1,000s of one fits into the other  )

I managed to get an export from GSAK of just the more recent logs using a filter I created - couldn't quite work out how to export only my logs and not the whole cache. I did get an export from GC but it's a zipped file and I couldn't work out what to do with it then (!!)

Anyway, the logs I needed seem to be here now and all's good (for now!!)

Thanks CraigRat and yep to everyone else. It certainly is hard to understand how someone can be soooooo tech un-savy!

Given you are a GC Premium member, you can grab a 'My Finds' pocket query from http://geocaching.com/pocket and upload it to http://geocaching.com.au/my/import . It's the easiest (and quickest) way to get your logs up to date on our system!

Hi... I recently joined GCA on the 7th July. I am a premium member of GC.com and have tried several times to upload my finds onto this website also. I have downloaded a PQ of my finds and tried to import the GPX file but it has imported no caches or logs. Please can you help me.
Many thanks
